This is Karen Lee.
She sees her neighbor, Ichika Ishikawa, and starts a conversation by saying,
"It's hot today, isn't it?"
きょうは あついですね。(Kyō wa atsui desu ne.)
Listen to the conversation, and focus on Karen's comment.
